The Digital Cultural Heritage Research Cluster at Vanderbilt University has announced the hiring of Dr. Michelle M. Taylor as the first Post-Doctoral Fellow in Digital Cultural Heritage. A biography and interview with Dr. Taylor is posted here. An experienced scholar in TEI XML, Dr. Taylor will undertake a number of research projects at Vanderbilt University including an update and improvement of the documentation for The Syriac Gazetteer and the geographic module of the Srophé App.
Update 2019: Dr. Taylor has completed her revision of the The Syriac Gazetteer TEI encoding documentation which can be found here. She has since completed the postdoctoral position and taken a position in the English Department at the University of South Florida.
